In 1997, Dust Angels, Inc. was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide top-quality housecleaning services while maintaining the flexibility to prioritize family. It all began with two single moms, Karen and Tammy, who sought a way to support their children (and always pick them up at the bus stop) while delivering exceptional cleaning services to their community. What started as a small venture quickly grew into a trusted, family-oriented cleaning company, dedicated to helping homes and small businesses stay spotless while building lasting relationships with clients.
More than 27 years later, Karen and Tammy are proud grandmothers who continue to offer the same hands-on, exceptional service that has made Dust Angels a household name.
Meet Karen Rud
Karen grew up in Queens, New York and came to live in the Lake In The Hills' area in 1994. If you ask Karen what inspires her, she would be quick to answer, family, friends, God and community life.
She is passionate about helping people and loves encouraging others to see their true potential.
Meet Tammy Rucinski
Tammy was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. Moved to Lake In The Hills in 1996. She raised her two beautiful boys that have grown into two amazing young men. Tammy lives by the words of Mark 12:30-31, which says, "love your God with all your heart...love your neighbor as yourself".
She has dedicated herself to God, her family, friends and strangers.

Karen and Tammy have dedicated the spirit and integrity of Dust Angels to their sister Jackie who passed away unexpectedly in 2010.
